The engravings are made on pieces of raw iron with a height of 1.5 cm. This process, although simple, is very complex considering that it is entirely done by hand.

The iron is inserted into the pantograph, then, thanks to a steel tip of the same pantograph, it is lightly drawn so that we can see what we will eventually be the end result.
The drawn iron is then carved by hand with a burin until the desired result is achieved. Finally, we must consider that dry engravings can also have more than one excavation layer, allowing us to obtain a three-dimensional result.
